FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

The Red Deer Regional Health Foundation & Alberta Health Services are proud to offer learning opportunities for residents of Central Alberta who wish to further their educations in the healthcare profession.

Applications will be accepted until March 1, 2019.

2019 Scholarship applications will be available December 15, 2018

In memory of Phyllis Holmes.  Awarded to an applicant pursuing advanced education in cardiology or respiratory health medicine.

Cec & Phyl Holmes Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant pursuing education in nursing, cardiology and pulmonary

or general medicine.

Leo J. Falardeau Endowment Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant pursuing advanced education in Bachelor of Science in Nursing

or a Bachelor of Nursing.

Lloyd & Evelyn McNeil Nursing Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant pursuing advanced education in laboratory services

and diagnostic imaging.

Lloyd & Evelyn McNeil Nursing Scholarship - Laboratory & Diagnostic Imaging

Awarded to an applicant pursuing advanced education in pediatrics or neonatology.

Queen Elizabeth II Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant pursuing advanced education in pediatrics or neonatology.

Dr. Ratzlaff & Dr. Molberg Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant pursuing advanced education in respiratory health services.

James Bradley Tubbs

Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant pursuing Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at SAIT or NAIT.

Edengrace Barisow Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant registered in the AHS Youth Volunteer Program

pursuing post secondary in a healthcare field.

Landmark Group of Builders

Youth Volunteer Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant pursuing advanced education in a field related to rehabilitation.

Young Guns Rehabilitation Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant pursuing advanced education in Licensed Pratical Nurse,

Health Care Aide, or Unit Clerk.

George Blair Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant currently employed by AHS, based within a Red Deer facility,

and enrolled in an educational program to enhance current or future career with AHS.

Red Deer & Area Staff Association Lifestyles Committee Legacy Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant in the field of surgical nursing on Unit 23 and pursuing further education or advancement towards a baccalaureate or masters degree at RDRHC.

Erica Engman Scholarship

Awarded to an applicant pursuing advanced education in the field of hospice,

palliative care or oncology and employed on Unitl 32 at RDRHC.

Florence Embury Memorial Scholarship
